Update Row in Google Sheets deletes other values in same row

Hi Everyone,

Just have a question regarding the ‘Update Row’ function to a Google Sheet. I have created a flow which provides the user a text message on 4 different topics but also asks a couple of survey questions inside of each topic. The user can navigate to each topic via shortcuts and word grouping. The answers are stored in a Google Sheet. Each topic has an ‘update row’ function contained in it. The user is eligible to win a prize if they submit answers to questions contained in each topic. To be eligible there should be values in 8 different columns.
The problem is however that every ‘update row’ deletes the values added from the previous update. I never get a full row of values.
I’ve tried one global ‘get’ early in the flow as well as 'get’s for each update. I’ve tried changing the location in the flow of the updates but nothing seems to work.

Is there any reason why an update of a row will also delete values from the same row ??

Much appreciated,
Rob.

Hi again,

Sorry for the gumby error but figured out what it was. The update row command requires a filter so it is specific to a word grouping and not available to the whole flow. Hope this helps anyone else who may have come across it.

Cheers

Hi! I am trying to update a row in Google sheets, but do not wish to update all the cells. The columns I am not updating - are being replaced by a 0. I wish to apply formulas in a few columns. Is there a way out?

Hi Kanika,

I see you’ve sent this into our email support as well so I’ve responded there.

Thanks
