Since a person accesses my BOT by clicking GET STARTED where they agree to share their info with me, If during my flow I ask a question May I subscribe you to receive an email? and they agree
I shouldnt have to ask them to type in their email address right?

Facebook require you to have extended user permissions before you can use the User API to retrieve the email address - if you try without having been granted permission then the request fails. Just asking the user for permission within the bot won’t satisfy this facebook requirement and therefore you wouldn’t be able to get it automatically I’m afraid.
