Slack Messaging Bot - Adapter not found

(David Garcia) #1

I am currently trying to set up a Slack Bot. It is getting triggered every time I mention it in the channel, but in Slack I dont receive any answers.

Any hints, suggestions are dearly welcome, thank you.

I have checked the forum but couldn’t find any hits on adapter id, maybe someone here can help.
Here is the log:

Hi David,

Can you send me a screenshot of the found new item log entry expanded so that I can see the details that are being passed to the adapter?

Hi Kellsey, thanks for the quick reply.
Here is the Screencap (tested with direct mention, overhear, etc.)

Hi David,

Thanks for sending me that. I can see there that all the details are correct so there’s definitely something going amiss on the back end. :slight_frown:

I’ll get that looked into for you and update you shortly.

No problem, thank you!

Hi Kellsey,

just wanted to stop by to show you this, I havent changed anything since the last test, maybe the bot just needed a weekend to recover its energies?

Hi David,

Our engineers have been working on the issue over the weekend and it’s normal for lost/undelivered messages to be recovered while they are fixing things. It’s a sign of progress

So I’m sure they’ll have completely resolved the issue before long to make sure that it doesn’t happen again. In the meantime though, there’s a good chance your bot will work normally

HI - I have run into what seems to be the exact same issue. I’ve created a slack bot and the flow is catching the user input but failing to send the response. My logs look identical to the above user.

I’ve attached screen shots of both the found new item log and the adapter not found error log.

Any and all help is appreciated.

thanks,

_m@

UPDATE: i deleted the first bot on both the slack and flowxo sides and recreated it to see if that would change anything and it did not.

I’m still getting the same error - just the endpoint ID’s are different:

Adapter not found for ID 58546dc2daed18000c2ab731 and account C39SJR2A2
