QR code webtool

Can the QRcode webtool be read only with the camera phone or do I need an app for reading?

The QR Codes are accessed through the Facebook Messenger app.

I did not understand. I use the camera when I’m on messenger?

In the Messenger app there’s an option for scan code or QR code. You can get it by clicking on your profile icon in the top corner and then clicking on the profile image that has a QR code around it.
