Mailgun sending fails with vague error

I’m trying to use Mailgun as a FlowXO action to send an HTML email, my Mailgun account is set-up properly and we know it works, and I keep getting this error associated with the action:

“Something unexpected happened and the request didn’t succeed.”

I’m not seeing any inbound attempts on the Mailgun side.
