I am getting this error.
(#546) The type of file you’re trying to attach isn’t allowed. Please try again with a different format.
I have tried loading from Dropbox and Google Drive and as jpg and gif. I have tried in Card and in Send an Image. I have tried to reduce the dimensions of the image. Nothing seems to work. Anyone have the same problem?

In order to send an image, the image must be hosted somewhere that is publically accessible, rather than be hosted in a service such as Dropbox or Google Drive. You could try hosting it at somewhere like https://imgbb.com/ instead and this should work. 
Thank you for your suggestion. I have tried this now and still don’t get any image displayed in a card or in a send image.
Do you still get the same error when using an image hosted from the site shared by Karen?

Okay I tried it again with the other link provided and it worked! Thank you all very much for your help, I really appreciate it!
A better response to this is to turn the dropbox image into a publicly accessible raw image, sothat you don’t need to store your images in multiple places.
Just add ?raw=1 at the end of the dropbox image link.

Unfortunately I don’t believe this will work. The send an image service expects that the url includes the actual file name and an image extension.
