How to create a simple menu

#1

A Flowxo newbie here.

How do I create a simple menu? I’m looking through the Welcome & Help template and see the “Show the bot’s menu” and then the “Shortcuts” section. But there is only text here?

Is the idea that I click out of here, find the title of different flows I have and add that text manually here?

Expected: a list of existing flows to choose from. Such as the (much more intuitive) Chatfuel UI offers.

Or maybe I’m missing something?

For FlowXO folks interested in newbie feedback: If I had to summarize my Flowxo experience so far it would be “extremely unintuitive.” Building flows are, so far, a pretty unfun task.

Wow. OK, so I discovered how this (undocumented & unintuitive) feature works:

The shortcut button text must be one of the words or phrases that that flow listens for. (FLowXO staff, I’d recommend stating that within your UI of that shortcut feature. And also in your documentation somewhere… preferably in its own url “Menu Shortcuts” or “Building a Menu”.)

So this means these two flows are not linked in any intelligent way. If you change the text in either the menu or your list of listener phrases, you can break things.

Expected = a list of existing flows to choose from to bind to.

Thanks for the feedback - yes noted, our documentation could definitely be improved. And the UI prompts too.
