How should I slow down the response to make it more humanlike?

I am trying to make my bot more humanlike, and one feedback gotten from my customers is that the bot responds too fast and humans cannot type that fast. Is there a way that I can slow down the bot when it responds to the triggers? Thanks!

Try to use time gap or delay.
