Facebook Ad JSON/Wecome Message/Flow Configuration

I am trying to get this set up correctly but I am dealing with 2 sets of welcome messages, which seems odd.

Is this necessary? Is there a way around it?

Right now it looks like this:

Questions:

Is there a way to go directly from the response from the JSON message to the first message from the flow?

If not, is there a way to change the welcome message from the bot (the 2nd opt-in message)? I’ve tried different variations of greeting and welcome messages but they do not seem to be having any effect on any of the actual messages being sent.

Hi @Mitch_Smith

A welcome message is automatically sent when the bot receives a message that doesn’t trigger a flow.

I think I’d need to know a bit more about how your flows are setup to help iron out the issues you’re having. Could you please email support@flowxo.com with a share of your flows. You can get a share link by clicking on the ‘private’ button near the top right corner when editing a flow.
