Difference between RSS and Feeds

I want a simple method of sending RSS feed updates to a bot user - can I use RSS trigger to do so, if so how? I managed to do it with the Feeds approach, but am not clear if I can od it using RSS and what the difference is. Thx

Yes feeds is the right way. The difference between straight RSS and feeds is that with the RSS trigger, only 1 flow starts when a new item is found.

With the feeds trigger, a new flow starts for every subscriber, so you can send them each a message (or do anything else you want).

Hi there,

The feeds service actually supersedes the RSS service so we actually hide this service from the list to save confusion. The feeds service offers more functionality and has far more use cases.

Just a correction there, we haven’t hid RSS yet, but that might be a good idea in order to avoid this kind of confusion. It is confusing!
