Capture first name code

(Bryan Song) #1

Hi can we set the first name capture in the code and use it for other flow without creating another code to capture first name?

Hi Bryan,

You can store the first name in an attribute which can then be used in any other flow.

Got it Thanks. Is there any where to obtain the facebook user location?

Hi Bryan,

Location is not currently supported but it is a feature that we are considering so best to keep your eye on the announcements on the Community and on the Road Map to see if it does end up becoming a feature.

Hi Bryan,

We’re looking to get a bit of info as to how users want the location feature to work so that we can decide how or if to add support for the feature.

If you wouldn’t mind can you tell us what you are expecting to get back from the bot when a location is sent (i.e. the lon and lat or different) and how you want to be able to use that data?

Thanks

Hi Kelsey

There be a lot of use case.

As simple as capturing last location to looking up a db to show services ,
food and place of interest .

Hi Bryan,

Sorry, for the delay. We had a spot of bother with our notifications for replies to posts. :disappointed:

We’ve actually just finished adding support for the location feature so this is now available
