Bot not working after changing Facebook password

I’m getting below error after changing my facebook password, how can I fix it? It used to be working

Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user changed their password or Facebook has changed the session for security reasons.

Hi @Pablo_Leonhart

If you have changed your Facebook password could you please try going to your bots menu and editing your Facebook bot. On the menu for that bot you can login to Facebook again to re-authenticate. Sometimes what can also help is to make a change to the persistent menu options on the Facebook bot and to save the changes.

Hi @DanielBeckett thanks a lot for your quick response. My client will be very glad with your response time. :joy:

This is all I do:

  • I clean cache files.
  • I re-login to Facebook from Bots Menu inside Flowxo, and nothing change.
  • I make some changes on the persistent menu, add sub-menu “Reset”(image)


  • And nothing changes.
  • I checked the new persistent menu, and it doesn’t change too (image)



    * I close session on Facebook, reload the page with ctrl + F5, delete conversation, and no change in persistent, and no response from the bot.

    Can you help me please?

Do you see the same error that OP had?

Do you know any other thing I can do to solve it?

Could you try setting up a new test bot and see if you get the same error?

Also, for your existing bot, are you using your own App or just the page setup?

I’m using the page setup.
I try using a new Bot, and changed again and works now.
