Thanks

That sounds like it could be either:
It’s not the welcome text is it? Check that too. Hope this helps!
Hi Tim.
It seems that the bot could still be connected, in another bot platform and it’s their welcome message that you’re seeing. You could try returning to their platform to remove it or go to the Facebook Developer account and remove any webhooks that don’t relate to Flow XO or bot master. (In the webhooks product section of your app)

Hi, I can’t see any reference to any other bot. Also my bot seems to have been approved by Facebook but when I try and get the bot to work off another account nothing happens.
Your guide says I don’t need to make it the flow public. The flow works off a google spreadsheet, I’m made that a share and editable spreadsheet but nothing seems to be happening. And I’m still getting the annoying message,
If the bot works fine for you, but not other users, this must be something to do with approval/discovery.
Can other users not find the bot, or can they find it but nothing happens when they try and talk to it? If they can’t find it, can they access it using the direct link that you see in Flow XO when you finish setting up the bot?
I seem to have figured out why it is not public, sorry if it is documented anywhere but within the developers.facebook.com you have to select your chatbot and then select App Review and then click Make Public: Yes. Obvious when you know its there and part of the process.
So it’s live but I’m still getting the annoying “Hello! Nice to hear from you. Tap “Restart Bot” to start the bot.” with every post. Seems though I have found the source, Onsequel, another bot engine I’ve been exploring.
As this isn’t your issue then this is closed, for you
Ah OK glad you got that figured out!
Yes we often get customers say their bot responds with our response and something else, and it’s almost always because webhooks from another platform are still in place. We should try and see if we could delete other webhooks as we add ours.
Thanks, the problem is that I can’t see the webhook on the developer site for onsequel. Thanks for your response and support. Tim
It might be that your page is connected to their app. So I would check in your page settings and see what is showing as connected/authorised there.
In Flow XO, you connect your own page to your own app. In some other platforms you connect your own page to their app.
