A Singapore Bank needs Flowxo solution urgently!

Dear Community,

First of all, thank you very much for providing such a nice tool. It is really cool and handy.

My company is doing social media service for enterprises. Recently a Singapore bank’s call center want to integrate flowxo into their FB to migrate traditional services to something more efficient and smart.

I have shown them flowxo and they are quite happy. However, compliance rule stops them from a quick implementation.

Under singapore local law, the conversation between customer and bank on FB is consider as highly confidential which is forced to be highly secured and stored for more than seven years.

Flowxo is apparently a cloud based service. I would like to urgently seek help from community:

Is there a solution to have a local sever (at least DB server) that can put into bank’s premise, which satisfied the compliance rule from government?

Thank you very much for the kind help in advance.

Jia from Singapore

Hi Jia,

There’s not really a way to get a local server version of Flow XO as it’s exclusively cloud based. Whilst built in logs only last for a maximum of 3 months on the account you could in theory backup your logs periodically (this would need to be manual at the moment - sorry) and pass any saved chat transcripts to an external database through Webhooks & HTTP or MySQL.

If you’re handling really sensitive customer information then this may still not meet the confidentiality and security restrictions necessary for compliance but for general usage hopefully the info above helps.

Feel free to contact support@flowxo.com if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Dan

I suspect this is going to be an interesting challenge for any messaging platform that handles any kind of personal data (i.e.a live individual)
